Aftercare survey results
Thank you to everyone who completed the survey about the scheme. We are delighted to report the results.
Some 90 per cent of respondents said they were extremely likely or very likely to recommend the scheme to others, a figure which rose to 100 per cent of parents who use the scheme three times a week or more. All respondents said the children were safe at the scheme and almost 90 per cent said that they were satisfied with the range of activities and play equipment provided.
Some 85 per cent said they were happy with the way staff interacted with their children. Just over 60 per cent said they were satisfied with the quality and choice of food available to the children. We plan to devise some new menus to improve the children’s access to a range of healthy and nutritious snacks.
Almost 80 children attend Breakfast Club or Aftercare on a regular basis. We received responses from 40 parents, about half of whom use the scheme from time-to-time and a third of whom use the scheme three times a week or more.
The scheme is managed by parents who volunteer as committee members and is led by Nikki Bright, the play leader. The committee should like to thank Nikki and her team for their professionalism and the care that they provide for the children.
