Beat the Street Launch

Belmont was very lucky in being asked to take part in the launch of  Beat the Street, a government backed initiative designed to encourage children to be more active and walk, bike or scoot to school.

The newly elected  Belmont School Council members were invited to attend the launch at Chiswick Town Hall.  Great fun was had by all, with various activities and games organised by the Beat the Street team.  The afternoon ended with the Chair and Vice-Chair of the School Council meeting the Mayor of Hounslow and having their photos taken for the local press.
