Children in Need Pyjama day!

You may have been mistaken for thinking the children had forgotten to get dressed in their uniform on Friday as the playground was filled with children in their pyjamas and onesies! The onesie craze has definitely taken off and there were gorillas, pandas and lions wandering around the school...even a giraffe. They all paid their £1 for Children in Need and the parents also gave generously in the playground - rather more suitably attired.

There was a challenges assembly for the juniors in the afternoon, led by Mr Lamming and Miss Steer who were apparently keen to get revenge for Red Nose day last year. There were a number of challenges that the children took part in including Balloon race, Marshmellow catching, Baked bean race , Mummy dressing and dog food delight. The noise from the audience was deafening as the children cheered on their class mates.

An enormous £763 was raised for Children in Need. Huge thanks to all those who gave and to Mr Lamming for co-ordinating the event and Miss Steer for helping with the challenges.

A few photos from the day can be seen below:

(It wasn't really dog food!)
