On Wednesday 11th December, Rowan class were lucky enough to visit Sky Studios! The children were immersed into the world of news reporting when they created their own report in fully equipped studios.

The children used green screens, teleprompters, operated cameras and edited clips to produce their final piece. Whether they were a reporter, producer, editor or director, the children all played a vital role in the production of their report and even got to take a copy home! 

Alex said, “The best part was using the camera because it had so many buttons and I felt really important because I was in charge of making sure it looked good.” 

Melissa said, “It was really interesting because we got to see what actually happens when they film the news and now we know.”
