Tag Rugby News!

Our Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby Team went to Grasshoppers on Tuesday afternoon and braved the rain and hail, to play 7 matches against other Hounslow schools. They did fantastically well and got through to the semi final where they beat St Mary's to play Cavendish in the final. The final game was end to end competitive tag. Both teams lost possession once, which gave them an advantage, but Cavendish had the upper hand. They managed to score just before the final whistle to win. Cavendish had won all of their games and were deservedly the competition winners.

The most rewarding part of the day was that despite the appalling weather our team not only kept up high spirits throughout, but were commented on as being one of the most sporting teams in the competition. Even in defeat, they celebrated Cavendish's win!
