Year 6 departed early this morning on their 5 day, 4 night epic adventure to the Brecon Beacons in Wales! Tregoyd House is a PGL centre that runs activties holidays for schools and individuals. The children get a chance to try out numerous avtivities, most involving mud and water! It's a key part of year 6 as it is a very bonding experience and new friendships are made as they overturn on the rafts they have just made, or get stuck in the mud on the mud challenge. There is apparently a disco, evening games and awesome hot chocolate according to some of those who have been before. For many of our children this is a first time away from home and family for this amount of time. The year 6 team are there with them and Mr Martin has also gone this year. We look forward to hearing all of their stories on Friday, but in the meantime, we keep parents and family updated with our daily blog.
