Y5 and Y6 football competition
On the 15th of January 2016, year 5 and year 6 football team went to Chiswick High School. We were split up into two teams. Belmont A and B. For the first match we were all nervous but at the same time we were excited. Nothing was really happening apart from in the last couple of minutes, Liam scored two magnificent goals! Then the Bs started their first game. Sadly the opposition scored some lucky goals but they still had fun. The As played our rivals. St. Marys. We scored two goals but conceded one. We were all overwhelmed with joy. Near the end we thought it was all over but Mr Kibreab told us we had one more game, Bs versus As. We were shocked that we had to play each other. Belmont As scored two goals which put them in second. So they qualified! Now we are waiting for the next big round.
