Year 3 Roman day!

Whilst the rest of the school were in their pyjamas, Year 3 got their togas on, their battle gear ready in some cases and some rather fetching gold leaves in their hair. They all looked fantastic. First up was a brilliant workshop run by Rainbow Theatre, kindly funded by the BHSA which saw the children get immersed in many aspects of Roman life. Then it was time for a Roman Feast, prepared by some parent volunteers (thank you!) and finally the children could swap into their pyjamas and join the Challenges Assembly. Check out the photos below.
