School meals

Our school meals are provided by Chartwells, who work in many schools across Hounslow and the UK.  The menu is published each term and also available by clicking here. Children are given a choice of three main meal options: meat or fish and one vegetarian, with a choice of two vegetables and access to a salad bar.  Desserts include a selection of yoghurts, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers or the pudding of the day.  A number of our children have specific dietary requirements and all of these are catered for.

The menu is planned to ensure each child receives a well balanced and healthy meal.  The children eat in our canteen, which has recently been refurbished, and accommodates over 400 children who eat either school meals or, if they prefer, packed lunches.  Times are staggered to enable the younger children to eat first. The Juniors are served on a rolling programme rotated each day so that Year 6 are not always the last to go in.

During the lunch period, the children are supervised by the School's team of School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSAs).  A member of the Senior Leadership Team is also on duty to support and assist this team.

If you have any questions concerning school meals please contact the School Office.
