Hounslow Sports Day Y5 & 6
We interviewed Amelia and Zindigi of Year 5 about the sports day in Cranford. All the schools in Hounslow competed to win. Children from Y5 and Y6 took part. The children played basketball, ran races, played tennis, did an octopus race and did hurdles.
The team took part in a big inflated dome. They were determined to win and they encouraged each other on. Sometimes they were worried that they might fall over, but luckily they didn’t!
Amelia’s favourite part was the tennis and Zindigi enjoyed the Octopus race the most. The greatest success in the tournament for our Belmont team was the basketball and the relay races.
The team learnt how to do many different sports and the different techniques involved in each. They were respectful to one another and the other competitors. Well done team Belmont for demonstrating our school values and representing Belmont so well. We are extremely proud!
