Year 3 had an exciting trip to Celtic Harmony’s Stone Age village, where they stepped back in time to experience
prehistoric life. They learned how to make tools and weapons using flint and even created embers to start a fire
using special Stone Age fire-making tools. The children enjoyed hunting and gathering activities and worked
together to make soup using leaves, herbs and nettles. The day finished with a traditional Stone Age tale, helping
to consolidate the children’s learning from their immersive experience.
