We are proud to be supporting this year’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, giving our school community the opportunity to come together in remembrance and show our support. We were delighted to welcome a member of the RBL’s Appeal, Mr McGregor, to our Monday assembly to launch this year’s appeal with the children here at Belmont.
Our wonderful House Captains will be selling poppies each morning at drop-off, with donations welcome by either cash or via QR code, until Remembrance Day on Wednesday 11th November.
On behalf of the RBL, we would like to emphasise that every donation, no matter how big or small, is equally valued and appreciated. It is the act of giving and showing support that matters most, rather than the amount donated.
Thank you, as always, for your kindness and generosity, and for helping our children understand the importance of remembrance.
