Belmont’s Annual Music Concert

Belmont’s Annual Music Concert

Last Wednesday (29th April) saw the return of Belmont’s Annual Music Concert, celebrating the incredible musical talents of our KS2 children. Over 80 pupils performed as part of the choir, delighting the Belmont community with wonderful renditions of Do, Re, Mi, We Don’t Talk About Bruno, Golden, and The NeverEnding Story — apologies for the earworm!

They were joined by the fabulous Belmont Band, who impressed the audience with an energetic mash-up of Believer and Survivor, alongside a variety of solo performances from children who have achieved Grade 3 or above on their chosen instrument. The afternoon featured talented violinists, pianists, drummers, and even a saxophonist. The atmosphere was electric, and the standard of performance was truly outstanding.

This week (8th May), our older choir members visited our resident friends at Clifton Gardens for a special VE Day celebration. Now in its second year on the Belmont calendar, this event continues to be a wonderful opportunity for the children to share their music while listening to the residents’ stories and memories. It was a meaningful and memorable occasion for everyone involved.
