| Reading | Daily (15-20 mins) Please ensure that all books are recorded in the green reading record along with the dates that reading has taken place. Please sign/initial these entries. Comments about the book and your child’s reading are welcomed. Three comments per week is ideal. Reading records are checked on Mondays but reading books can be changed on any day. Library day is on Tuesdays. Children may return finished books on this day and change them for a new one. Children may borrow books from the classroom library and the Junior Library. Please note that children are responsible for changing their own books.

| Grammar & Punctuation | Please complete pages 80-81 for this week’s SPaG homework (Suffixes – ‘ly’). Grammar homework books must be brought into class on Tuesday 2nd June for marking and are returned on Wednesday. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Spelling | Spellings are tested in school every Wednesday.
Group 1 spellings are for words ending with the suffix ‘al’.
Group 2 spellings are for words containing the vowel digraph ‘ir’ or ‘ur’.

| Maths | MyMaths homework is set every Wednesday to be completed by the following Wednesday – See Google Classroom for the link. No maths homework over the half term holidays. | ||||||||||||||||||||
