Following on from our successful Harvest visit, the choir joined residents of Jessop House and Clifton Gardens for Remembrance Day on Tuesday. The choir delighted them with war songs from the upcoming year 5 show, and invited them to sing along with old wartime favourites “Pack Up Your Troubles”, “It’s A Long Way To Tipperary” and finishing with “We’ll Meet Again.” Afterwards, the children and residents chatted about the war, whilst writing inspiring quotes on the poppy wreaths the residents had made. Much fun was had by all and the choir is looking forward to returning for Christmas.
