In Reception, for our Dinosaurs topic, the children listened and acted out a story using the Now-Press-Play
headphones. The children learnt what a palaeontologist does and had to dig for dinosaur bones and eggs, and how
these fossils go into museums for people to see.
They were introduced to the names of the dinosaurs in the story: Brachiosaurus, Pterodactyls, Tyrannosaurus Rex
and Triceratops. The children had to listen carefully and follow the instructions for them to become the different
dinosaurs.
