Home Learning timetable
Please see the table below for details of the home learning tasks.
| Reading | 15 minutes daily. Please return reading records every Wednesday to let us see how your child is getting on and to let the children get new reading books. Make sure that the adult records a comment to say how the reading has gone. This does not need to be longer than the box provided. Children will also take a school library book to read at home for pleasure. Please return these on Wednesday so that they can choose a new book on Thursday. | ||||

| CGP KS1 English – Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling Homework Book | Page to be completed by: 14.1.26 – Pages 10 & 11 – Conjunctions – Using ‘and’, ‘but’, ‘or, ‘when’, ‘if’, ‘that’ and ‘because’. 21.1.26 – Page 27 – The Long ‘e’ Sound DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD COMPLETE ANY OTHER PAGES OTHER THAN THOSE SET BELOW! Handwriting sheets (to print off at home)
By the end of year 2 children are expected to begin to join their writing. We will have lessons in class focussing on this but do encourage children to practice and we know some children are already attempting to do this.
