Admissions

 

The School 's criteria for admission are set by the our Local Authority, the London Borough of Hounslow, in line with other community primary schools.  Details of these criteria and of each school's Priority Admission Area (PAA) are available on the Hounslow Council website: www.hounslow.gov.uk/admissions,  Brochures detailing arrangements for admission within Hounslow at both nursery and reception stages are made available in the autumn term both online and via school open days.

 

September 2018 admissions; Reception and Years 1-6

This School is a London Borough of Hounslow Community School and the Local Authority is responsible for allocating school places.  Applications for Reception 2018 must be made online using e-admissions by 15th Jan 2018.

 

 

All admissions to the School for children of statutory school age, ie for places in our School's Reception classes and for older children seeking entry to the School, are handled by the London Borough of Hounslow School Admissions Team, Children’s and Adults' Services, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN, email: admissions@hounslow.gov.uk, tel: 020 8583 2721.

 

The School has 60 reception places  each year.  The closing date for applications for September 2018 is 15th January 2018.  Children may be admitted to other classes in the School depending on the availability of a place in the relevant year group. To find out if the School has any spaces, please contact the Hounslow School Admissions Team on 0208 583 2721. The School does not hold a waiting list for children wishing to attend when they reach school age. 

 

September 2018 admissions: Nursery

Children born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015 are eligible for a nursery place in September 2018. Applications to the Belmont Nursery open in January 2018.  Our nursery has 52 places for 15 hours per week.  Parents can apply for a nursery place directly to the School by completing an application form and returning it to the School Office.  Forms can be requested from the Office or downloaded from the Hounslow Council website (address above) from January 2018.  

 

Open mornings and visits

We encourage visits during the teaching day so that prospective parents can see Belmont at work.  Our open mornings start at 9.30am and can be booked by sending an email to messages@belmont.hounslow.sch.uk  with your name, address, mobile phone number, your child's name and date of birth. 

 

Dates for open mornings for 2017/18 are as follows:

Tuesday 21st November 2017 at 9.30am

Tuesday 5th December  2017 at 9.30am 

Wednesday 10th January 2018 at 9.30am (priority given to Reception admissions)

Friday 23rd March 2018 at 9.30am (Nursery admissions open morning)

 

Regrettably we cannot offer tours on an ad hoc basis unless you have been offered a place but haven't had the chance to look around, or if you are relocating to the area and we have potential spaces. Please contact the School Office to arrange.
