BHSA Music Night

Known by those who went to the last one, this is one of the best social events you will get to see during your time as a Belmont parent! Showcasing the talent of the Belmont community, there was an incredible mix of acts from opera to choirs, a rock band, music theatre renditions, piano recitals and our acclaimed violin and cello duo. The organisers said jaws would drop, and they weren't wrong. Many of us in the audience were simply in awe of the talent around us. Miss Coates performed alongside some parents in the recently put together BHSA Choir. And we haven't mentioned the 5 minute musical synopsis of "Les Mis", not only sung brilliantly, but with each character brought out in their short piece. This had followed "The Rainbow Connection"  sung in the style of Kermit the Frog. Is there no end to the talent?

Plans are afoot to find ways for showing this amount of talent to the children!

Our thanks go to Jenn, Gordon and Steph for organising the whole event, encouraging and calming the performers, organising the food and bar, as well as setting up and clearing up. All proceeds made at the evening will go to the BHSA to help support projects in the School. Book your ticket early next time!
