Chiswick Timeline: a history in art and maps

Chiswick Timeline is a project by Abundance London, depicting the history of Chiswick through art and maps.  The mural is being installed under the arches of the District and Piccadilly lines at Turnham Green Station and will be unveiled on Sunday 28th January, 12.30 -3pm. To support the project, we have been invited to produce little houses to add to the ceramic map project. 120 houses are being supplied by the project organisers for us to decorate in school along with a further 200 made by children who attend Make and Paint with Tanya Saunders.  In addition, we are looking at some of the local landmarks with every year group and children will be creating artwork of some of them.  Some of this artwork and the houses from Belmont will be displayed in the top hall for you to view on Friday 26th January 3.15-3.45pm before the houses are taken over for the event that weekend.  We hope that some of you will be able to pop into school to see our display and that many families will show their support at the unveiling on Sunday 28th January by Turnham Green Station.
