Dance Disco Glory!
On the 9th of February joy began to spring as the BSHA Disco .Every year Belmont has a school disco and sometimes for parents too! To enter you need a wrist band sold days before the disco. Each wrist band has 3 boxes for food 1 for fruit, one for crisps and one for a snack. Every one would place their coats on a table and enter. The disco contained a variety of music played by the DJ. The sound was tremendously loud and I think the residents nearby would definitely hear it! Near the middle they always do the tradition of Boys vs Girls. They would either have a competition on who could dance better or who could sing better. No surprise who won the singing! At one point we even did the train! When they played one song however we all knew what to do. It was YMCA time! When we were happily grooving something caught our eye. The teachers where standing on chairs, doing the YMCA! We were all shocked but still happy. When the disco came to an end we all gathered in classes and got frozen ice creams. It was heaven!
