Love to Disco!

The highly anticipated School Disco took place yesterday, with Years' 1-3 hitting the dance floor at 4.30pm and the older years coming out at 6.30pm. Outfits had been planned and accessorised by some, and others found uses for the mini disco lights on their hands, clothes and glasses.  There were dancing competitions - i think the girls won, but it was close and the boys had some very impressive dance routines too. The children knew the moves to both the Macarena and YMCA - see the photos for evidence, as well as all the words to various songs that i no longer know.  Miss Kay and Linda joined in with the dancing too!

A huge thanks to the Disco organising team - Kirsty Howden-Smith, Helen Hoey, Katharine Peters and all their helpers on the day. Apparently there is talk of a parents' disco next. Watch this space!
