TESTING AND ISOLATION GUIDANCE
From Monday 17th January the isolation period will be reduced to 5 days if someone tests negative on day 5 and day 6. The first test must be taken no earlier than day 5 of the self-isolation period, and the second must be taken 24 hours later. All test results should be reported to NHS Test and Trace. Those that continue to test positive will need to isolate until they have 2 consecutive negative tests or have completed their 10 day isolation.
Please refer to the attached diagram from Hounslow Public Health which explains the new testing and isolation guidance.
