The Charge of the Belmont Brigade

Year 2 embraced their Fighting Fit topic with an enthusiastic re-enactment of the Crimean War. After some rather over zealous fighting in the middle hall, our poor soldiers were removed from the battlefield by a highly professional group of nurses, trained under Florence Nightingale (Miss Thompson). Every soldier was saved thanks to the skill of the nurses, and got back out to the battlefield to sustain some more dreadful injuries. Thankfully there were lots of smiles and laughters in between the dramatic scenes of fighting.
