Y5 Redstart trip

On Thursday 19th January, Sycamore went to the Legal and General offices where we learnt how to control our money and budget. The day was set up by Redstart and Chestnut went on the 25th of January.

We played a series of games that taught us how to spend and use our money. There were seven games to choose from including the bank, easy money, share money between friends, eye on the prize, built to last, fighting fit and playing with the big kids (they were all really fun!).

To play the games you needed to pay a certain amount of money like £50 or £25. We all started with £500 (fake) and most of us ended with over £600! We learned about risk and reward as well as being able to budget our money.

It was a really fun trip and we learnt a lot.
