Y5 Trip to the Imperial War Museum

On the 5th November 2014, Sycamore and Chestnut went to the Imperial War Museum. Year 5 have recently been learning about the Wars (1&2) and lots of people enjoy learning about it. We got to the Museum on a coach and everyone was really excited, and there was a lot of chatter. After about 30 minutes we got to the Museum and outside there were two massive canons, which were real. Inside was amazing and there were sensational models and a V2 rocket, real rocket. Soon after we got to interview two real World War Two evacuees called Rose and Ken, who talked to us about being evacuated in 1940 and this was quite interesting. Then we went to a World War One exhibition where there were interesting artefacts. Amazing day!
