Y5 "We'll Meet Again" Presentation
Year 5 presented a showcase of what they had learnt this term with a fascinating presentation on WW2. Created and written by the children, it featured scenes on many different areas about this time in history. We, the audience were reminded and/or learnt about Churchill, being evacuated, the Dunkirk evacuation, rationing, school days and how strict they were! There was fantastic singing and several parents admitted to a tear in their eye over the last song, "The White Cliffs of Dover." We even heard about Chiswick's experience during the war and the existence of a log book in school, with references to evacuation drills. It was an excellent presentation, with information, humour and sensitivity. Please take a look at the gallery below to remind you of their work! Thanks to Miss Kay and Mr Grigg for their significant efforts in helping the children create such a masterpiece!
