Y5 evacuated back in time!
On the 1st and 2nd of December all 59 of Year 5 took part in a FANTASTIC show where the audience learnt a lot of information about World War 2. There were scenes about Grandma and Grandpa telling the story of their lives back in the war. There were lots of different scenes: Dunkirk, Rationing, Shelters, Blitz, Chiswick, Evacuees and Schools. There was lots of singing and dancing. Everyone had great fun! The parents (audience) were full of laughter by the end of it and there was explosion of applause. Everyone had a part to play and sadly Kim (who was meant to play the Grandpa) was ill and Jamie had to step in and play the part instead. By the end of it we all wanted to do it again!
