Year 2 'I love London' trip

Year 2 have been learning all about London this term, with a focus on the Great Fire of 1666. They have had a brilliant workshop and put on a wonderful presentation to parents. However they really wanted to get out to see it all for real, and on Monday they did!

In their own words:

First we got on the coach. Next I saw the white St Paul's Cathedral. Then i saw the round dome and it was amazing! After that we saw the gleaming gold, and we saw the Bishop's chair. It was old.

We learnt about the Great Fire of London. After lunch we went across the bridge .
