Year 2 trip to Bournemouth

As part of their topic this term, Year 2 visit Bournemouth for the day. Its an early start and they have to be at school at 7.30am. Then its on to the coach for the 2 hour drive down there. Once there, they get to visit the aquarium and then its down to the beach for paddling and building sandcastles. Its a really special trip as it also comes at the end of Key Stage 1, before the children embark on their move to the Juniors!

The coach trip home was probably  a little quieter than on the way there, as everyone took the chance to rest their eyes, or at least some of the grown ups did!
