Year 6 Hero Factor

We have a tradition of putting on spectacular shows in Year 6 and this year was no exception. A show written by Mr Dorey and Mrs Boyadjian and first performed back in 2009, Hero factor sees Greek mythology meet X factor.  If that doesn't get your attention, then add in a full education for the children of 1980's/ 1990's music with the likes of Hey Mickey, Vogue, I need a hero and then the song to end the show  - Nothing's gonna stop us now.  There is something about the finales in our year 6 shows - they always refer to moving on, growing up, staying friends and nearly always bring a tear to our eyes!

It was a fantastic show, acted brilliantly with comic timing, glamorous togas with 80's neon accessories, boys dressing as girls (as required in greek tragedies) and singing that raised the roof. There were even cameos from the teachers. 

Well done year 6 and to all the teachers and staff involved. Thanks also go to the parents who volunteered their time to help with the back drop, costumes, hair and make up etc.
