Visible Learning

The School is committed to developing children as lifelong learners and embarked on the Visible Learning programme in September 2016.  This whole school, two year programme uses international research to develop learning and teaching at all levels, maximising the use of factors which have the greatest impact on learning.

We introduced Visible Learning to parents in December. Please find the information from this presentation here.

Pupils and teachers have discussed the dispositions of a good learner and have agreed the language that we will use across the school to describe these attributes.  We encourage our families to use the same language at home when discussing learning.  Click here for the agreed shared language.

Latest news: On 27th April, we held a workshop for parents to revisit our School Values in conversation with children from Year 5.  It was an enjoyable and productive session and we thank parents who attended for giving their time. Please click here for a word cloud which shows the vocabulary we came up with.
