Year 4 visit Kew Gardens

Year 4 had a lovely day out in Kew Gardens today. The sun shone for them and they had the chance to explore the area and visit the famous Palm House, where temperatures were even hotter. They had a workshop on 'Art in Nature' and were shown how to draw flowers. Then they had the chance to put what they had learnt into action in one of the most famous and historical gardens in the world.

On a Friday year 4 got ready to go to Kew Gardens. They had travelled by train to get to Kew. Once they arrived, the year group was split up into 10 groups. 5 started at the workshop the other 5 started at the palm house. The palm house is a large conservatory with a mini aquarium and many different plants from all around the world.
