Belmont Primary School

  • 'Belmont has always struck the right balance between academia and learning for life.'
  • 'A school that doesn't just excel at the academics but provides so much more, whether its music lessons and the lunchtime choir, or the 350 spaces in clubs each week, the football and netball teams or the shows that raise the roof of the top hall.'

Our community

The strength of the Belmont community is a crucial factor in the success of the School. We work hard to maintain and nurture the strong community links that have developed over the years. The children are encouraged to participate actively in community life, both within and beyond the School, and visitors are warmly welcomed.

We have an outstanding partnership with parents to help us provide the best possible educational experience for the children. Parents and carers are engaged in all aspects of school life  and give us a tremendous amount of practical support on a day-to-day basis, as well as being gifted fundraisers.

Our governors are actively involved in the life of the school through the work they do, including regular visits and our annual Governors in School day, where they have the opportunity to join lessons, sit on the School Council and sample school meals.
